In this interactive session, both advisory and non-advisory professionals will learn how to build stronger client connections through intentional, inclusive communication practices. Leveraging AI analytics and team-based experiential activities, attendees will gain insights into how culture, age, gender, and other dimensions of diversity influence connection and communication. The session will include in-session exercises aimed at revealing biases and encouraging adaptive communication behaviors. Attendees will leave the session with actionable strategies to elevate both team dynamics and client relationships through intentional, inclusive communication.

  1. Learning Objectives:
  2. Articulate what a cognitive bias is and how it impacts client and team interactions
  3. Identify at least two examples of non-inclusive language or behaviors and propose alternative inclusive options to use in client and team interactions
  4. Define one action they can take back to their team to bolster cultural competence and improve inclusivity in client communications and team dynamics
